Multiple severe storms cross north central Illinois on May 19. We enjoy several hail shafts and a non rotating wall cloud before seeing a beautiful rainbow.

A group of slow moving severe storms move in on parts of northern Illinois in the evening on June 4. Erik sets up in Marengo for a cell between Belvidere and Marengo.

With a tornado watch in effect, a line of strong storms moves across northern illinois with strong winds knocking down several large trees including this one at a friends property in Union IL

A derecho that was beginning to gust out moves south from wisconsin into northern illinois. Erik sets up in waukegan as the last of the severe thunderstorm warnings gets issued for mchenry and lake counties.
Nothing more then some light winds and lots of rain. There was a tornado warning issued 20min before this for parts of walworth, racine, and kenosha counties wisconsin.

Racing down I90 to get to shaumburg, erik puts himself in the path of a severe thunderstorm affecting cook and lake counties illinois. Some strong winds are all about what happened with this storm.

This supercell was responsible for a variety of tornadoes including the ef3 which struck Stougton, WI. We catchup with the storm in Rock County where an unusual funnel is observed and we discover the amount of chasers following this storm becomes a bit of a convergence.

Out on unrelated adventures, Erik and Rich find themselves in a hail core in Belvidere IL, no warnings or watches to discuss and the hail was very small.
