2 Miles North of Harvard We Spotted a Tornado on the Ground

We spotted and reported a tornado on the ground in northern McHenry County today just before 4:00pm CST.  The tornado moved across Route 14 heading northeast and destroyed a shed and knocked over a semi-truck.  Some of the debris from the shed took out some power lines on the east side of the road.  The driver of the truck was unharmed despite his truck being blown over and sliding on the road for several feet.
